Georgetown Mock Trial is an entirely student-run organization.  In addition to the lack of any coach or advisor to help run the team, this also means that the cost of competing is largely borne by our members.  While we receive modest financial support from the University, donations from parents, friends, alumni and community members are essential to allowing our program to continue competing at the highest level.

How to Help

Venmo Donations:

You can donate directly to our Treasurer’s Venmo @Adam_Trial. These donations go directly into our program, providing us funding for traveling, tournament costs, and competition materials.

HMTA:

The Hilltop Mock Trial Association (HMTA) is a registered 501(3) corporation dedicated to reducing financial barriers of participating in GUMT. Donations to HMTA will provide a long-term solution for GUMT to be financially independent from the University, and ensure money is never a reason for members to be unable to compete.
